Weliswaar wordt zij in diverse genealogien vermeld, er zijn echter geen archivalia bekend die haar bestaan onderschrijven. Wel zijn er diverse documenten die wijzen op nauwere contacten tussen de Heren van Mierlaer en Heusden. Zo is in 1306 Jacob van Mierlaer vertrouweling van de heer van Heusden en in 1388 beleent Jacob van Mierlaer Peter Beinen met een hofstede onder Doveren (Heusden).</blockquote> |
